Eric's personal, educational, and professional experiences have prepared him to be a well-equipped voice that asks the right questions and brings a balanced perspective to City Hall for our district.
Attracted by the great neighborhoods, beautiful parks, and the familiar small town feel, Eric and his wife, Reace Alvarenga, intentionally chose to plant their roots in Grand Prairie. Eric served as member of the Grand Prairie Variance & Zoning Appeals Board and the Grand Prairie Library Board. He is a former Trustee of First United Methodist Church of Grand Prairie and is the former President of the Arlington Kiwanis Club Southwest.
Eric earned his degree in Economics and Sociology from Baylor University, where he later earned his Juris Doctor. He began his legal career as a Law Clerk and Judicial Extern before joining the Small Business Administration as an Attorney. Now as a sole practitioner attorney in Grand Prairie, Eric helps local families and businesses meet their needs and understands the unique challenges they face.
